Experience a special day at the Slate Museum: Together with your parents, you can visit the underground mine and learn more about the rock and its exploitation. After a typical quarryman’s lunch, you will discover how the slate was worked at the surface and of course you can even dress your own roofing tile. Your creativity will be challenged by engraving and decorating your own slate.

Age of participants: Families with children starting the age of 4 years

We highly recommend bringing a jacket and wearing closed shoes for the visit.
