The ticket shop will give you the opportunity of purchasing your entrance tickets to the Museum ahead of time. The advantage for online purchase of the entrance tickets is for example that you can freely choose the date for your visit at the Slate Museum. Also, you will see if there are still (enough) places available to the desired visit. It is important to know that once you purchased your tickets online, you will need to validate the ticket at the reception in order to enjoy your visit. It is mandatory to stick to the mentioned timing on your entrance ticket and to be on time for the visit.

Our giftshop contains a lot of different gifts and souvenirs, all somehow in relation to the slate and its extraction. You can for example find some unique, handmade objects which will allow you to support the local and regional shops in these difficult times. After choosing your preferred item, you will have the possibility of picking up the item on your own at the Museum, and of course at the same time visiting the Museum or having it shipped to your home (against additional fee).
