On Friday 26th November between 07:00PM and 11:00PM and on Saturday 27th November between 11:00AM and 11:00PM the Slate Museum will host again the traditional Christmas Market, organized by the Friends of the Slate with the support of the municipality Rambrouch and the "Musée de l'Ardoise".
The former quarrymine in Haut-Martelange delivers a perfect scenery for stands offering drinks and foods, gift ideas as well as decorations for winter- and christmastimes.
Once the hot gin in the "Leekëppert"-Bar, the Christmas beer, the grilled fish or meat, the hot soup or the sweet treats have all been tasted, just take a tour around the market and take a look at the interesting live demonstrations of woodcarving, blacksmithing and leatherworks. Some 40 stands offering gifts to eat or consume straight at the Market or to take back home and put underneath the christmastree await the visitor, who can enjoy the unique christmassy athmosphere (PLEASE wear sturdy shoes)!
The atmosphere will be supported by different musical acts, like the famous saxophone group "Saxitude" on friday and the "Dréiuergel vum Tom", de "Lompekréimer" an the "Strëpp vun der Héiltzer Musik" on saturday.
Entrance is free but it is a COVID-CHECK Event.
