During the official opening times (wednesdays 01:00PM - 06:00PM, weekends 10:00AM-06:00PM - these hours are valid from the 1st of November to 31st of March), the visitor of the Slate Museum has a free access to the site and can individually discover the Museum and its 200 year old history. Explanatory signes or a free application (Visit Eislek > I-Beacons) gives you the oppportunity to discover the Museum by the help of your experienced guides who explain you the most important buildings and stories above ground.

A visit to the underground mine* can be booked through our Ticketshop, per e-mail, per telephone or at the reception. A tour with the industrial train (1€ per ticket - upon availability) can also be booked at the reception

In case the visitors plans a visit to the underground mine, we request beforehand to bring study shoes (f.e. hiking footwear) and a jacket.

The whole exciting day at the Museum can then be topped with a refreshing drink at our famous ancient's café, the Bopebistro.
