About the event

🌞Summer program at the Slate Museum

Throughout the entire summer season, the Slate Museum offers a diverse program to explore the grounds from various perspectives and at your own pace.

🔍Guided Tours

Regular guided tours are offered throughout the summer.

These allow you to explore the entire site, including the underground area, accompanied by a guide who shares the history of the site and life in the slate quarries.

👉The tour is included in the museum's admission price – there are no additional costs.

👉The language of the guided tour varies by day (French, Luxembourgish, English, or Dutch).

🚂 The little Industrial Train

The little industrial train, which is especially popular, also runs during the summer months.

The driving days depend on the weather conditions and the local organization, and offer another way to discover the terrain and its industrial past.

🎨Kids at the Museum

In addition to the regular program, the museum offers "Kids at the Museum", creative activities for children and families.

These workshops allow younger visitors to discover the world of slate in a playful way and spend time with their family.

👉 The "Kids at the Museum" activities take place on specific dates and require prior registration.
