Slate Museum Haut-Martelange building as as a living concept
The Slate Museum is more than a building, it’s a village. Hence, it’s evident that parts are always under construction. At present, the Museum has entered a thrilling period as works, started in 2019 to take visitors to an underground tour at a depth of - 42 m, will be completed in a few months. Just now, we are building a last stairway and what feels like hundreds of small works are waiting for their fulfilment (such as the tedious testing of the video projection material, installing the old pump in her new exihibition spot underground, fixing electrics in the last corners of the mine, Renovation of the railwaynetwork,etc.).
