The primary aim of Rotary Club International is to use relationships and contacts to serve the general interest and to advance understanding between peoples, altruism and respect for peace through friendly relations between members of professions united by the ideal of service. With this in mind, in 2009 the Rotary Club Diekirch-Ettelbruck came up with the idea of organising a rally for classic cars.
The "Rotary Castle Tour" is by no means a speed race. On the contrary, it's an excursion between friends who share the same passion for historic cars, the different landscapes, the historic remains, the architecture, the known and unknown castles and the different cultures of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and the Greater Region. Only by preserving our culture, our heritage, our history and our nature can we build for the future.
