MEEKOLL TREFF 2024

A unique opportunity will present itself on 1 May 2024 in Haut-Martelange, on the grounds of the Schiefermusée, where several local associations have joined forces to revive an old tradition. The May potion festival will be celebrated under the new name "Meekoll Treff".

01.05: Meekoll Treff from 10h00 to 18h00

              - Hike along the old "smugglers'" routes

 In the past, smugglers travelled to Luxembourg from Belgium via the "Sentier des Fraudeurs" (Path of the Smugglers). On 1 May, you and a group can legally follow in the footsteps of the smugglers on this beautiful hiking trail while enjoying the beautiful nature along the Sûre and the magnificent panoramas along the way. Who knows, you might even find some woodruff on the edge of the smugglers' trail. 

              - Tractor rally

Do you have an old tractor that is at least 24 years old?

Then mark 1 May in your diary and take part in our vintage tractor rally followed by a meeting on the grounds of the Slate Museum in Haut-Martelange.

During the +/- 20 km rally in the commune of Rambrouch, you can also take part in a competition. 

Start of the rally 9.30 - 11.30 am. Participation fee: 10 € (incl. small snack).
