KIDS AT THE MUSEUM

In our child-friendly activity, young explorers experience the exciting world of slate – from its formation to its extraction and finally to the end product.

​Following the path of slate, a tour, especially for children, goes 42 meters deep underground to discover the slate mine Johanna.

To conclude, the young visitors get to try their hand at something: they create a bat from a piece of slate – a souvenir of an exciting underground experience.
